Person Directed Services and Accommodation Support

Noweyung’s services provide quality support programs in a number of settings.  Our programs cater for a range of abilities that meet an individual’s needs.  People participate in a broad range of support programs based from Noweyung Centres as well as within the broader community.  Wherever possible, programs are conducted in community based settings or in conjunction with generic providers.  Broadly, these programs include:

  • Community access;
  • Social and living skills;
  • Sporting and recreational;
  • Work training skills; and
  • Sensory based programs.

The highly acclaimed Yackety Yak Radio Show is just one example of the innovative and dynamic opportunities for people Noweyung supports.

A weekly Yackety Yak radio program goes to air each week on Radio East Gippsland at 105.5 and 90.7 FM.
