SERVICE COORDINATOR CLOSES 14/05/2021

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Coordinator to work with clients, their families and stakeholders to plan and access services that complement their lives.

You will be responsible for

– Liaising with clients, families and other stakeholders to develop objectives and goals of support specific to the individual needs of the clients and monitoring the quality of services delivered and networking with other services

– Leadership and mentoring of the Support Planning Team to deliver client rosters, ensuring clients’ needs are being met.

– Site leadership for two residential support teams working in Slim Dusty House and Grant Street.

SKILLS AND ENGAGEMENT FACILITATOR CLOSES 9/05/2021

Noweyung has a varied and challenging role available for a motivate and energetic Skills and Engagement Facilitator

The Skills and Engagement Facilitator’s purpose is to support people with disability to develop their individual skills. This role supports Noweyung’s “Now-Engage Gippsland” options, these options focus on developing individual’s skill and interests in a particular industry (Nursery / Workshop Construction / Sport and Fitness etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist skills and vocational development (Now-Engage Gippsland) to participants

• Provide Individuals with assistance to access and maintain volunteer and employment roles when ready.

• Support and develop pathways for individuals to access TAFE or other training opportunities to supplement their current supports at Noweyung.

• Work with participants to transition into Noweyung’s social enterprises, and employment supports where appropriate and applicable.

• Support the facilitation and development of Noweyung’s programs including providing technical expertise.

• Support opportunities for Noweyung participants to improve skills through hands-on maintenance opportunities at Noweyung.
