Whats New?



Pictured here is Noweyung participant John Minnis with members of the Eastwood Retirement Village Workshop,  John is accepting a sensory board made by members of the workshop using items donated by Businesses in the local community. We would like to thank the workshop for their efforts in creating this piece.

“Noweyung is funded by the Department of Education to run short pre-accredited courses in Gippsland. This was a wonderful example of what these courses can provide to learners and Noweyung was excited  and proud to have the course recognized through these awards for the outcomes achieved for the students and for the Hospital. Most of Noweyung’s delivery is within East Gippsland and we are keen to provide a range of similar courses that can provide exciting pathways and options for learners in this region” – Glenda McPhee, Noweyung.

Noweyung Ltd in Bairnsdale has been honoured at the 2018 Victorian Learn Local Awards for a project it ran in partnership with Central Gippsland Health (CGH).


The Victorian Learn Local Creating Local Solutions Award went to Noweyung Learn Local for ‘Kickstart your Career in Health’ in partnership with CGH. This award recognises the achievements of a Learn Local program or project that is creating solutions to local training needs.


Noweyung, Yackety Yak and the Cells Café is now sponsoring the Wy Yung Football Club, allowing us to give back and say thank you to the local community for their on-going support.
